Fowles returns to Sky's active roster
After missing 17 games, Chicago Sky rookie Sylvia Fowles is expected to return to the court Tuesday night when the Sky takes on the Indiana Fever at 7 p.m. at the UIC Pavilion. Fowles will be on the active list and dressed to play. She is not expected to start, but she is expected to see minutes for the first time since her injury.
Fowles injured her left knee blocking a shot against the backboard in the third quarter of the Sky's game against the Sparks on Tuesday, June 3. Fowles' block of DeLisha Milton Jones' shot was called for a goaltending violation, the first time the call has been made in WNBA history.
