Oberweis provides character he wants

Jim Oberweis has the type of character I've been wanting to see in Washington.

His business skills present a common-sense approach to fixing fiscal problems, and he has clearly been on the forefront of the immigration issue, taking the heat from pro-illegal groups a long time before the rallies in California and Chicago.

Washington and Springfield are filled with many politicians who can no longer fix these problems, either because they are the problem or they have lost any viability as a legislator.

It's time to start cleaning house and bring in some fresh blood. We need someone who is willing to speak frankly and who will bring in a culture of change to Washington.

Jim Oberweis is that someone for me and I will be voting for him on Feb. 5.
