Lipton goes in-depth with four leading men
As creator and host of "Inside the Actors Studio," James Lipton has prompted more than 200 guests to open up in a relaxed atmosphere, almost as if they were in their own living room. The show premiered on Bravo in 1994 and has received 12 Emmy nominations. This latest set features four very private actors revealing themselves like never before.
"Inside the Actors Studio: Leading Men" (Shout Factory, three discs, $39.98)
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Sean Penn and Russell Crowe share their insights in this fascinating series. Each one opens up to Lipton and shows us how thoughtful and intelligent he is. The DVDs include new introductions by Lipton, never-before-seen footage, flashbacks and moments that didn't make the cut.

"The Mickey Rooney & Judy Garland Collection" (Warner, $49.92)
Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney were like brother and sister and had great chemistry together. Two of the biggest stars at MGM, they appeared in 10 films together. This collection features four films that are new to DVD, all produced by Arthur Freed. Each one has a similar show-business plot and showcases their versatility. The films are: "Babes in Arms," "Babes on Broadway," "Girl Crazy" and "Strike Up the Band."
There is a bonus disc featuring an interview with Rooney (who also introduces each film), "The Judy Garland Songbook" featuring 21 musical numbers spanning her many films from 1936-1954, comedy shorts, cartoons, radio promos, photos, production notes and more.
"Twisted Terror Collection" (Warner, six discs, $49.92)
The collection features films by Wes Craven, John Carpenter and Oliver Stone. They are: "Someone's Watching Me," "The Hand," "Deadly Friend," "From Beyond the Grave," "Eyes of a Stranger" and "Dr. Giggles."
