Congress not following rules
Earlier this year, President Obama and Congress passed the PAYGO rule requiring new spending or tax changes to not add to the federal deficit. Both the federal budget and deficit are at historic highs.
With PAYGO in place, how can Congress be discussing taking over the health care system? The current proposal, HR 2300 according to the Congressional Budget Office, increases the deficit by more than $1.5 trillion. If Congress can't obey their own rules, like PAYGO, how can they be trusted with our health care system?
Ask your congressman if he still supports PAYGO.
