Thank you, Derek and Peggy Kinnane's!
Arlington Heights is one of the luckiest and blessed villages in Illinois, as we have some of the best residents who continually volunteer, donate and participate is a wide array of organizations and events to help improve our community.
Along with the plethora of great folks we have some of the best business owners, who also work to make our community a great place. One such Arlington Heights business owner is Derek of Peggy Kinnane's. Derek, as my wife and I quickly learned can never say no, especially when it comes to helping our service members, veterans and their families.
Derek Hanley hosted a Cubs Rooftop event in May, raising funds for the Ed A. Dillon Memorial Scholarship Fund and Salute Inc.
My wife, Mary Beth, and I want to thank Derek and all the folks that came out to honor and remember the life of Ed Dillon and also honor our service members, veterans and their families.
"Honor the service and remember the sacrifice" is the motto of Salute Inc. as we strive to honor those who protect our freedoms and way of life, but this motto encompasses the service that Ed Dillon provided to our community and to Derek as he continually steps forward to give his time, talent and resources to honor Ed Dillon's memory, those that serve our country and I'm sure a host of many other well deserving organizations.
Derek, a toast to you, your family and all your folks at Peggy Kinnane's. We at Salute and if I may speak for all the other organizations you have helped over the years are thankful and appreciative as it's leaders like you that truly make a difference.
Thank you again and God Bless!
