St. Bede Knights of Columbus Fundraiser: All-day event starting with a car show at 9 a.m., Saturday, July 25, St. Bede Church, Rt. 59 and Wilson Road, Ingleside. AAUW Bake and Book Sale: 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, Deerfield Farmer's Market, Northwest corner of Deerfield Road and Robert York Avenue, Deerfield. The Deerfield Area Branch of the American Association of University Women will sell books and baked goods to support scholarships for designated female graduating seniors at Deerfield, Highland Park and Stevenson High Schools. It Can Be Done: Mondays and Tuesdays, Francesca's Intimo, 293 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Francesca's Intimo has agreed to donate 15 percent of patrons' bills to the nonprofit organization It Can Be Done! on Mondays and Tuesdays if the customer mentions the organization to a restaurant employee. The proceeds will benefit the purchasing of a drill to construct wells throughout the 12 villages of Uru on Mount Kilimanjaro, providing the 30,000 people living there with freshwater.
