Gaspardo releases faster system

BATAVIA - Gaspardo & Associates announced the launch of the ComScan system capable of reducing 3-D inspection times. Using a patented semi-spherical gantry, the ComScan system is able to quickly move a 3-D scanner and part to be scanned to provide high-speed high resolution automated 3-D data collection. Dimensional inspection occurs every time a line is restarted or the tooling is changed, and on a subsampled set of full production parts.
