See what's up next for St. Charles summer concert series

The St. Charles Park District and the Downtown St. Charles Partnership continues its summer "Concerts in the Park" series for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors and some music.

This week's performance will be Lazy Maybes at 7 p. m. Thursday, July 16 at the Lincoln Park Gazebo, located along Main Street between Fourth and Fifth streets.

The Lazy Maybes are a cover rock band that plays songs with their own twist. From classic rock, to 1980s, '90s, modern rock and original tunes, the Lazy Maybes are a local favorite.

This concert is free thanks to generous support of numerous local businesses.

Bring your family and friends for a picnic in the park. Settle in before the concert and enjoy picnic-style offerings at reasonable rates from downtown St. Charles restaurants and local vendors. Guests are encouraged to get to the park early for better seating. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

Upcoming concerts include: Tin Horse on July 23, Michael Heaton Band on July 30, Gizzae on Aug. 6, Hello Dave on Aug. 13, and Howard and the White Boys on Aug. 20.
