Gamers line up for 'Halo,' 'God of War' sequels

LOS ANGELES - Gamers at the Electronic Entertainment Expo are sticking with what they know.

The longest lines at E3, the three-day trade show wrapping up Thursday in Los Angeles, have been for glimpses of the next installments in long-running franchises such as Nintendo's "Legend of Zelda" and Sony's "God of War" series.

Some gamers waited in lines for over an hour for "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks" for the Nintendo DS and "God of War III" for the PlayStation 3.

Attendees were also drawn to Bungee Studios' first-person follow-up, "Halo: ODST," for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Harmonix's "The Beatles: Rock Band," a new version of the music game starring the rock group.
