What Obama's win brings to America
After eight years of so-called leadership by fear and intimidation from a lame-duck administration, there is now a distinct air of hope and ambition in our country as our President-elect prepares to take office on Jan. 20th.
Indeed, expectations must be kept in check as President-elect Barack Obama and his cabinet have monumental tasks ahead.
But there is a new buzz in the air, one that has been absent for years, and that is hope.
We have learned what White House leadership based on fear has brought to us.
We have learned it in a history of backward policies and failed efforts.
It is now a time for hope and newly gained respect from the world and its leaders that was previously lost.
