Obama should drive a compact if I must
Under the guise of improving gas mileage is a baldfaced attempt by Obama to take another freedom from Americans. Apparently the only time he believes in choice is if it involves abortion. These rulings will condemn us to tiny, uncomfortable, underpowered vehicles. Meanwhile, he will never ride in anything smaller than a Cadillac Escalade, and do you think any of his minions in the Senate will be chauffeured around D.C. in a Honda Fit?
All of this is being done allegedly "to reduce our dependence on foreign oil."
There is another way to do so, but Obama and his cronies refuse to pursue it. They do not want us to extract and use the oil that is in our country. Their excuse is that it "will take 10 years." Well, it'll take 10 years or more for their rules to make a big impact, since due to the new technology required and his "Cap & Trade" lunacy, these Obama cars will not be readily affordable.
It must be nice for Obama and his pals to pass Draconian laws that will not affect them in the least bit.
