St. Peter School students honor Principal Day with chocolate

Students at St. Peter School in Geneva celebrated Principal Day. The student council, with the help of Marie Culliton, picked the theme for the day, "chocolate," Principal Roseann Feldman's favorite.

Each of the students were given permission to dress out of uniform and wear brown. Besides a dress down day, each student brought in a chocolate food item that would be donated to the St. Peter Food Pantry in Feldman's name. In addition, a donation will be made to Heifer International in her name.

More than 50 boxes of each of the following items were donated: chocolate pudding, Pop Tarts, chocolate cake mix, chocolate cookies, boxes of chocolate cereal, cans of chocolate frosting and boxes of brownies.

St. Peter School serves more than 500 students in preschool through eighth grade. For more information, call the principal at (630) 232-0476 or visit stpeterrockets.org.
