Comcast, Sky reach deal for broadcast partnership

The Chicago Sky of the WNBA and Comcast have reached an agreement to broadcast five games this season on Channel 100, and formed a partnership to present additional Sky content via Comcast Digital On Demand, Channel 1.

The On Demand content will include additional games, team and player special features and game highlights.

"This is an amazing opportunity not just for the team but for our fans," said Sky CEO and president Margaret Stender. The Sky also announced its new TV broadcast team, with Brent Stover handling play-by-play and Patricia Babcock McGraw of the Daily Herald providing color commentary for those five games.

"For Comcast to be the viewing home for the Chicago Sky is a fantastic opportunity to support Chicago as a great sports city," said David Williams, Comcast vice presient of marketing for the Greater Chicago Region. "We're thrilled to partner with the Chicago Sky."
