Apologist in Chief suckered again

President Obama has once again played right into the terrorists' hands. Hearing that 100+ Afghan civilians were killed in a recent U.S. bombing raid, President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton apologized for the U.S. actions before getting the facts. It turns out it was a setup by the Taliban. The U.S. action was the result of the Taliban beheading three civilians and killing several others with hand grenades, which brought Afghan soldiers in response. The Taliban fired on them and they called in the U.S. Air Force to help. The Air Force responded and attacked the Taliban who then killed more civilians with white phosphorous to make it look like they were killed by the U.S. raid and then they called a news conference blaming the U.S. for the deaths.

The press, always anxious to make the U.S. look bad to increase its world wide ratings, played their part with the Taliban and hyped the falsehood. And President Obama and Hillary Clinton, always anxious to apologize for America, naively played to the Taliban's goal of tearing down the reputation of the U.S. and enhancing the Taliban's reputation. In the meantime the Taliban goes on beheading innocent people, blowing up civilians with suicide bombers, and pursuing its goal of taking over Pakistan to get access to their nuclear weapons. We are a nation of naive "babes in the woods" facing a combined threat of murderous terrorists and a biased press determined to make our nation look bad when it takes action to defend freedom against tyranny. In nature and in history, there are no happy endings for the naive and the ignorant.
