Concerts in the Park return to downtown St. Charles
The St. Charles Park District and the Downtown St. Charles Partnership bring the summer "Concerts in the Park" series to downton St. Charles. This week's performance will be Mr. Myers at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at the Lincoln Park Gazebo, on Main Street between Fourth and Fifth streets.
Mr. Myers blends the tropical sounds of calypso and ska, the rhythms of reggae and a little rock 'n' roll with some favorite classic tunes to create their own - Caribbean Rock.
This concert is free thanks to support of local businesses including Harris Bank of St. Charles, Autopractor Inc., Williams Architects, Williams Construction Management, Ameriprise Financial, The Filling Station Pub & Grill, Wills Burke Kelsey Associates Ltd., minuteman Press of St. Charles, Bickford Assisted Living & Memory Care of St. Charles, McDowell Inc., Dentist L. Bring your family and friends for a picnic in the park. Settle in before the concert and enjoy picnic-style offerings at reasonable rates from downtown St. Charles restaurants and local vendors including Domino's Pizza, Gramps Frozen Custard and Onesti Dinner Club. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, too.
Upcoming concerts include: Spoken Four on June 18, The Wild Ones on June 25, Chicago Groove Collection on July 2, Kimi Hayes Band on July 9, Lazy Maybes on July 16, Tin Horse on July 23, Michael Heaton Band on July 30, Gizzae on Aug. 6, Hello Dave on Aug. 13, and Howard and the White Boys on Aug. 20.
