Credit union robbed in Elk Grove Village
A man between 40 and 50 years old robbed the Central Credit Union of Illinois at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.
The man, who had bushy eyebrows and gray hair, walked into the credit union at 2430 Landmeier Road, police said.
Wearing a red winter headband, dark sunglasses, black sweater and blue jeans, he entered the business and demanded cash. The man, who is about 5-foot-10 and weighs about 160-180 pounds, took an undisclosed amount of cash and walked westbound through the parking lot toward Higgins Road, police said.
