Chicago Sky scouting report
Chicago Sky (3-1) at Connecticut Sun (1-3)
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Mohegan Sun Arena
Last time: Three days ago, the Sky defeated the Sun 78-75 at UIC Pavilion in Chicago.
Skinny: The Sky has been on fire, winning its last three games. But all three victories came at the friendly confines of the UIC Pavilion. Now it's time to see if the Sky can win on the road. The season opener was on the road at Minnesota and that didn't go so well, a 17-point loss. But the team has played much better basketball since then, even triumphing over various adversities. For instance, the Sky got only 2 points from leading scorer Candice Dupree in Tuesday's game against Connecticut and also faced an 8-point fourth quarter deficit, but still prevailed. Guard Jia Perkins had 25 points, and center Sylvia Fowles added 17 points. The Sun got double figures from four players, including forward Asjha Jones (16 points), reserve Tamika Whitmore (16), guard Erin Phillips (13) and reserve Kiesha Brown (10 points). The Sky is 3-9 all-time against the Sun.
Next: Sky at Washington Mystics, Saturday
