For change, elect Krenz in the 49th

I was very disappointed by a recent letter by Wendy Harries regarding the Republican race for the Illinois 49th District House seat.

I received both of the Jim Krenz pieces in the mail and they were very fair and factual. One contained the voting record of Tim Schmitz on several issues and both pieces centered on Krenz's stance on his nine issues for the 49th.

I was angered to see Schmitz voted in favor of in-state tuition benefits for Illegal immigrants. I would not have known this if not for the Krenz mailing.

I know the Krenz family, and I can tell you Jim has one major concern and that is for the well-being of our families and businesses.

He understands that the number one issue for us all is the unbearable tax burden we are under. e need a guy with good business sense who will start to turn this mess around.

Schmitz has had nine years and what do we have now? It's time for a change. It's time for Jim Krenz.
