Judge: Home where 3 bodies found can be sold
COLUMBIA -- A southern Illinois judge says the home where the bodies of a women and her two sons were found is authorized for sale.
But proceeds won't go to the woman's husband, Chris Coleman, who's accused in the killings.
Sheri Coleman and her sons, Garett and Gavin, were found murdered at their home on May 5. Chris Coleman faces three counts of first degree murder.
Belleville attorney Jack Carey says attorneys for Chris Coleman and Sheri Coleman's family reached an agreement protecting the couple's assets last week.
The order filed Monday in Monroe County says proceeds of the sale will be deposited in a trust account of Sheri Coleman's family attorney.
