Extend cap and trade: Just pay me

As a supporter of cap and trade, I think we should extend it to residential homes as well as businesses.

Under my plan, since I live in a relatively small energy efficient home, anyone occupying say over a 3,000 square foot home, [large enough for any family], would pay me for using my unused energy and contributing to the pollution and global warming of my planet.

Maybe this plan would also discourage building more McMansions, save Brazilian cherry wood forests and other natural resources.

Besides, the extra money would come in handy.
