Bond denied in crash that killed 2 women

A judge has denied bond for a Chicago man who allegedly rammed his car into the back of a car his ex-girlfriend was in, causing a crash that killed two women and seriously injured two others.

Twenty-five-year-old Joshua Enriquez is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder in the May 3 crash.

Cook County Judge Jackie Portman ordered Enriquez held without bond on Monday.

Police say Enriquez intentionally rammed the back of the victims' vehicle, causing it to slam into a tree. Nineteen-year-old Nicole Mijares and 22-year-old Gabriella Almanza died. Enriquez's ex-girlfriend survived.

His attorney says Enriquez says he's innocent. There is no telephone listing for Enriquez in Chicago.
