Arellano belongs in an orange jumpsuit

Elvira Arellano's "cause" is as phony as the church she's hiding in, and the media has done the public a terrible disservice by constantly misrepresenting this case.

With all the flurry about "comprehensive immigration reform" a few months ago, all the controversy surrounding Sens. Ted Kennedy and John McCain as they attempted to legalize and give amnesty to 20 million poachers now in our country, there was always one constant.

That one constant was that there would be criminal background checks done, and that no criminal aliens would be allowed a path to citizenship. None. Not even Elvira.

Arellano is a convicted felon and a fugitive criminal alien. She was ordered to leave the country with her little boy over a year ago, and boldly defied that order, with Latino organizations putting her up on a pedestal, all the while comparing her to Rosa Parks. What a terrible comparison!

Thus, even had the Kennedy-McCain amnesty plan passed, Arellano would not have been a candidate for citizenship in the U.S.

While I can appreciate ICE's patience, and not wanting to start riots, the woman has had over a year to leave the country, as ordered by a federal judge.

Now, it's time for jail, because that is what would happen to any of us for stealing people's identities, evading taxes and committing multiple felonies.
