Truck gets stuck in Wayne ditch

A southbound semi truck drove into the ditch along Dunham Road north of Army Trail Road in Wayne about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The road was closed to traffic a little before 8:30 a.m. between Army Trail and Sterns roads when two rigs from Arties towing set up to attempt to pull the semi out of the ditch.

During the extraction attempt, the box trailer with a 30,000 pound load cracked and collapsed in the middle. No injuries were reported.
