Improve coverage of Wolves hockey

I have a comment to the editor's notes from Jan. 12 where you write how the Chicago Bears fell apart, and the Blackhawks and Bulls have left fans without hope for a successful season.

You point out that fans should look in their own backyards and support the local high school and college teams.

That is all fine, but once again the Daily Herald has disappointed me -- by failing to bring to light the fantastic season happening right now with our own Chicago Wolves hockey team.

The editors fail to notice that our Chicago Wolves are among the elite in the Western Conference. The Daily Herald coverage of the losing Blackhawks and the Bulls can be several paragraphs, but you will just barely mention the Chicago Wolves. Sometimes it's just a box score.

I would just like to know what the Daily Herald has against my beloved Chicago Wolves team? You sponsor this team, so why don't you provide better coverage of a team that consistently delivers a great season year after year? And fan friendly? They are the best. Let's Go Wolves!
