Get involved in plans for future
A new Wal-Mart is being built in Lake Villa township, why not in the Village of Lake Villa? Round Lake Beach will see the increase of $15 million yearly. We can live with it but not see the revenues.
At present, $35,000 has been budgeted for an Economic Development Study. So far it's looking like a developer is interested. In the plans it looks like Cedar Avenue is being extended into Kids Hope United. Five years ago that was the plan, so more apartments, condos, and retail could be built. Please keep involved or get involved with the future hearings. Future hearings were to be held to keep all update on the progress of the study. >
Let's make sure the Village of Lake Villa gets what is the best for the whole village.
