Patti Blagojevich getting ready for reality TV gig

Former Illinois first lady Patti Blagojevich says she's getting ready for her stint on reality TV by doing yoga and cooking meals for her kids to eat while she's gone.

Both Patti and Rod Blagojevich appeared on WLS Radio's "Don Wade and Roma Morning Show" on Tuesday.

Patti Blagojevich says she's prepping for her appearance on "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here" by doing hot yoga. She says that workout -- which is done in a heated room -- will help her get acclimated to the high temperatures in Costa Rica, where the show will be taped.

She also says she's been cooking and freezing food so the ousted Illinois governor and their daughters will have meals while she's gone.

And she added that her father, Chicago Alderman Dick Mell, has also whipped up a batch of turkey chili for use while his daughter is away.
