Geneva's Ashley Ellis to increase recruiting staff 40 percent

Ashley Ellis LLC, an information technology recruiting firm, announced today that it is expanding its recruiting staff to keep pace with demand.

"As a result of recently added information technology contracting services and an increase in demand in our contingency-based service over the past few months, Ashley Ellis is expanding its staff by 40 percent," said Katy Gallagher, executive manager at Ashley Ellis.

Some economic indicators have stabilized, and some are even improving. This is good news for those firms prepared to take advantage of a growing economy, Ellis said. During the past month the industry has seen some improvement in both contingent placements as well as contract staffing positions. In the first part of the year, employers were slow and cautious in taking on new employees or creating new positions, but moving forward, many are concerned that they might be ill prepared for a turnaround in the economy.

As the market loosens up, so does the pool of qualified candidates. Candidates who sat tight during the economic downturn are now in the job market testing the water, and this is another sign that an economic rebound may be closer than originally thought.
