Mitten Tree: Donate new mittens and gloves for the Dundee Township Public Library's Mitten Tree.

As a tradition started by the library's children's department more than a decade ago, donations of new mittens and gloves for infants, children and adults decorate this special tree each year. Scarves, hats and caps are also welcomed donations.

Items will be accepted until Dec. 21 and will then be donated to the Elgin Community Crisis Center.
