These 'Tales' bring faith home to kids
"Veggie Tales" is a series of children's computer-animated shows that present a biblical perspective in a fun and entertaining way. From them, kids learn valuable life lessons.
Phil Vischer created the first two characters in 1990, and a few years later the first episode appeared. Each program mirrored a biblical story with wonderful characters and songs that parents could watch with their kids.
There is a new series from Big Idea Productions that features two programs; each two-disc set retails for $14.95. The shows are: "Veggie Tales: Very Silly Songs/Ultimate Silly Song Countdown," "Veggie Tales: Madame Blueberry/Esther the Girl Who Would be Queen," "Veggie Tales: Sheer Luck Holmes and the Golden Ruler/The Ballad of Little Joe" and "Veggie Tales: Larry Boy and the Fib/Larry Boy and the Rumor Weed."
