Teens arrested in Hanover Park stabbing

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to a gang-related stabbing Wednesday in Hanover Park.

Police said a 25-year-old male was stabbed multiple times in the chest around 5:20 p.m. following an altercation between rival gang members. The incident occurred in the area of Pebblebeach and Catalina drives in the Tanglewood neighborhood.

Two male juveniles, ages 14 and 16, were charged with aggravated battery and are being detained at the DuPage County Juvenile Detention Center.

The victim, whose condition is unknown, is recovering at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.
