In God we should trust

We are approaching the National Day of Prayer on Thursday. Our beloved America is in deep trouble on many fronts.

The negatives we now experience are the result of abandoning a loving God who wants to bless our nation as he did in our past.

America was an exception to the worldwide climate of hatred and lust, but we have abandoned him by allowing so many of the things he warns against in his word. Yet his promise is still true. He will again bless us if we will "humble ourselves and pray."

This is the promise made to Christians but should also be the desire of all in our land if we want to return to prosperity. Why is it so hard to trust a loving God who gives every individual their life and does not force them to believe in him? There is only blessing when we do. Rejecting him takes away all hope for our nation.
