Midtown Athletic Club Palatine team crowned champs

Midtown Athletic Club Palatine, 1760 N. Hicks Road, announced a crowning achievement for its Adult Women's United States Tennis Association's (USTA) 3.5 team. Ladies of this team won the 2008-2009 fall session in the Chicago District Tennis Association. This association consists of teams from Cook, Lake and DuPage counties.

This is the second time the 3.5 Women's Tennis team from Palatine will compete in the Chicago District Championship, to be held Aug. 8-9, at The A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center in Winnetka, with the potential to progress onto the National Championships held in October.
