Foster a man of the people

I want to thank Congressman Bill Foster for holding a recent "Congress on Your Corner" in West Dundee. I must say that it shows considerable courage for a politician to remain seated within easy tomato-throwing range of the produce section of a local grocery store for a two full hours, although in fairness to the staff of the West Dundee Jewel I must say that all of the fruits and vegetables appeared to be fresh.

There was a good turnout at the event, and though we were limited to just a few minutes each with the congressman, I felt that it was worth the wait in line. By making himself so accessible, Bill Foster shows that he is truly interested in the views and concerns of his constituents.
