SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Senate voted 31-27 with one member voting "present" on a plan to expand the sales tax to a litany of services and raise the income tax to 5 percent from 3 percent. The plan now goes to the Illinois House for consideration. Here's how local lawmakers voted.
