Bartlett woman to 'Survive Japanese Game Show'
Bartlett's Cathy Grosam will be taking part this summer in ABC's reality-show competition "I Survived a Japanese Game Show." Described by ABC as "the cute and funny housewife who's also ultra competitive," the 35-year-old will be competing in events like the Big Foot Big Bang and Alien Took My Teddy Bear, in which contestants dressed as green aliens try to transport stuffed bears across two conveyor belts. The show, which opens its second season as a summer replacement July 8 on WLS Channel 7, has finished taping in Japan, but the 12 contestants are forbidden to do interviews until they're eliminated on the show - or, of course, until one wins the $250,000 grand prize.
