Cook County, stop playing the public

Who are these Cook County commissioners kidding? Repeal of an "unbearable" one cent tax hike? Pennies are lying in the street, and no one even picks them up, not even children. One cent on the dollar paid by many people help pay for medical care for the indigent and is not missed by anyone, not even the poor. Who is going to another county to purchase an item to save a few cents? It would cost many times more of the few cents savings to travel to another county. Commissioners, please stop playing the public for fools,
