Monty Python fans rejoice
"The Complete Monty Python's Flying Circus Collector's Edition"
Fans of the great TV series can now rejoice with the release of this awesome set.
The ensemble group that took sketch comedy to a new level included Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam and John Cleese. The set features all four seasons of the TV show, a collection of live performances, a lost episode, the groups personal best collection, two new documentaries, vintage photos, home movies, deleted scenes, interviews with the cast and Americans who speak about how Monty Python changed their lives, behind-the-scenes featurettes and lots more.
"Wall-E"
This animated box-office hit takes place in the future. Earth is uninhabitable, and garbage is piled as high as skyscrapers.
The last surviving solar-powered robot is Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) whose job is to collect and compact trash while dreaming of companionship. His ordered life is changed when a new robot named EVE arrives. Reluctant at first, Wall-E is smitten, and they form a special bond. Eve finds a plant sample, and, with this discovery, goes back in space to report to the humans. This might hold the key for them to return to Earth. Wall-E goes across the galaxy after EVE, and the entire family will enjoy this journey. The robots speak in electronic tones, and the way they interact is a sight to behold.
>"Hannah Montana: The Complete First Season"
In Disney's top-rated series, Miley Cyrus stars as a teenager with a double life.
At school and with her friends, she is Miley Stewart, but when she goes on the stage to perform, she becomes Hannah Montana. There are lots of guest stars on the series, and the four-disc set includes all 26 episodes along with bonus features.
"Tropic Thunder"
Ben Stiller co-wrote, directed and starred in this very funny movie.
Tugg Speedman (Stiller), Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black) and Australian Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.) - a method actor who had his skin darkened to play a black man - are in Vietnam to shoot a film. With the production sinking, the director (Steve Coogan) decides to drop the cast in the middle of the jungle, where he will film guerrilla style. It gets too real as they cross the poppy fields of a drug cartel and are targeted. "Tropic Thunder" is a film within a film that takes no prisoners. There are surprise cameos, and the movie works on many levels.
