4 charged in online prostitution sting
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Four people, including three Illinoisans, have been charged in an online prostitution sting in Iowa City.
Iowa City police say an undercover officer met 21-year-old Heather Brown of Rock Island, at an area hotel after being contacted after viewing an online solicitation. Brown was later charged with prostitution but hasn't been arrested.
Forty-seven-year-old Samuel Scott of Davenport, Iowa, was arrested and charged with pimping after police say he drove Brown to appointments and collected the money she earned.
Twenty-year-old Kathleen McFadden and 26-year-old Lisa Nolker, both of Springfield, were charged with prostitution after police say they posted an ad for "encounters" on Craig's List and met an undercover officer at a local hotel.
McFadden and Nolker also are being sought.
