Congratulations to Elgin winners

On behalf of the Association for Legal Americans I would like to congratulate the winners of the Elgin City Council election. Messrs. Dunne, Gilliam, Prigge and Warren deserve the respect of all for their desire to serve and their victories on April 7.

I like to think our organization helped to foster discussion about immigration enforcement in our community. Through forums and our Web site we tried to give the candidates an opportunity to express themselves on this critical issue.

It is AFLA's hope that the new city council will bring new ideas, more discussion, and a welcome mat for additional input from citizens.
