Abruscato has long history of commitment

For the last 22 years, Judy Abruscato has served the diverse citizens of Wheeling as a trustee with honesty and compassion. She and Mario, her husband of 49 years, chose Wheeling as their home and we have been fortunate for that decision.

In addition to her long tenure as a trustee, she has enthusiastically served with various and varied community organizations. These organizations and positions include: past president of the Wheeling Rotary Club; past president of the Wheeling Lionesses, Wheeling Historical Society and Wheeling/Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce; and a founder of the Neighborhood Watch program. These memberships demonstrate her ability to work with diverse groups of individuals for the betterment of Wheeling and the surrounding communities.

She is the proud recipient of the Senior Commission Achievement Award, the Wheeling Band Support Award and the State of Illinois Woman Achievement Award. These awards are a testament to her dedication to our village and the citizens.

She is a tireless worker on behalf of Wheeling and its citizens. I encourage you to vote as I will to elect Judy Abruscato to the position of president of the Village of Wheeling.
