Three seriously hurt in Bartlett crash; no charges yet
Three people suffered what police are calling serious injuries following a head-on collision this afternoon in Bartlett.
A helicopter flew one passenger to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Bartlett police Sgt. Michael McGuigan, while paramedics took two others to Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
The wreck happened around 1:30 p.m. on Route 20 just west of Bartlett Road, McGuigan said. A black Hyundai Santa Fe traveling west on Route 20 crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck a white Ford 500 head on, McGuigan said.
The Hyundai driver is at Good Samaritan, and the passengers in the Ford were taken to Sherman, he added.
Police continue to investigate, and it's unclear if any charges will be filed.
