Hanover Park man accused of sexually assaulting child

A Cook County judge set bond at $100,000 Saturday for a Hanover Park man accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

Judge Ellen Mandeltort also imposed special conditions on the defendant, Oscar Pulido Dominguez, if he makes bail. They include no contact with the victim or the victim's family and no contact with anyone under age 17.

Hanover Park police arrested Dominguez, of the 7300 block of Jonquil Terrace, Friday and charged him with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a class 2 felony that carries a sentence of three to seven years in prison.

The victim suffered bruises and abrasions during the incident, which prosecutors say happened about 1 a.m. Thursday. The victim later told a friend and a teacher about the incident, said prosecutors during Saturday's bond hearing in Rolling Meadows.

The 40-year-old Dominquez claimed he didn't do it. Dominguez received five months' supervision for a 2001 DUI, but has no other criminal history. He next appears in court April 30.
