Fed up with doomsday scenarios

Governor Quinn, I have a message for you. I refuse to be bullied with doomsday scenarios. Politicians are always predicting doom when it comes to raising taxes. They do not care how it affects the people paying those taxes, just the ones who don't. The teachers union is back, beating that dead horse about taking away pension money that they say they have paid into. Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people who lost their pension funds due to mishandled funds. These people the teachers union are complaining about are some of the same people that they as a union supported and campaigned for. Stop threatening me about shutting down services and health care. Stop wasting my money and you will have the funds to do what is necessary not folly as you are now. The fact that Todd Stroger vetoed the tax decrease tells me that Illinois will not be happy until the people of this once-great state are as bankrupt as the coffers. I, for one, am fed up with your taxes and tax increases on everything that moves, breathes and lives. This is nothing but a sham perpetrated by our own elected officials and it has to stop. Do us all a favor, Mr. Quinn, shut it down, and maybe we can start over with people who actually care about the taxpayers of this state and not the tax takers.
