No one hurt in Libertyville fire

No one was injured in a car fire at a home on Brookhill Road in Libertyville early Friday morning, Libertyville fire officials said.

Fire crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Brookhill Road with reports of a structure fire just after 8:30 a.m. Friday.

At the home, firefighters saw heavy smoke pouring out from inside the attached garage, officials said. Inside, a car was on fire.

Firefighters pushed the car out of the garage, then doused the car and garage with water.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, officials said, and the cost of damage to the home and car is unknown.
