West Chicago 13, Glenbard East 3: Ethan Burau went 2-for-3 with a 3-run homer, a grand slam and 8 RBI for the Wildcats (9-5, 2-2) in their DuPage Valley Conference win. Cole Paler improved to 4-0 on the mound.
Benet 11, Neuqua Valley 10: Mac Coffey's sixth inning RBI single scored Mike Cunningham with the winning run in a nonconference win for the Redwings (9-5). Mike Vanchieri went 3-for-4 while Adam Janssen earned the win in relief. Kyle Mener had 3 hits and 3 RBI for Neuqua Valley (7-5).
Montini 5, St. Francis 4: The Broncos (10-2, 4-1) pulled out the Suburban Catholic Conference win by scoring the game-winning run in the top of the seventh inning. Kevin Huber went 3-for-3 and had a pair of doubles along with Colin Meister. Sean Keeley (2-1) was the complete-game winning pitcher.
Hinsdale South 7, Oak Park 2: Matt Perez blasted a 3-run homer to highlight a 5-run sixth inning for the Hornets (3-10) in their West Suburban Conference crossover. Connor Duckhorn (1-1) scattered 5 hits in his complete-game win.
Wheaton Academy 15, Chicago Christian 5: Eric Albaugh went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI as the Warriors rolled to a six-inning Private School League win. John Lace improved to 2-0 after pitching 5 strong innings.
Geneva 10, Glenbard South 8: Sterling Smith and Mike Meath homered for the Raiders (9-8, 2-5), but Geneva scored the 2 go-ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth to win the Western Sun Conference game.
South Elgin 8, Waubonsie Valley 5: Eric Sousanes, Kevin Kirchner, Sam Carius and Ryne Gill each had 2 hits for the Warriors (3-8, 2-3) in their Upstate Eight Conference loss.
Seneca 13, Lisle 7: Jay Osika and Alec Blechschmidt homered for the Lions (8-6, 4-2), who settled for a split in their Interstate Eight Conference series.
Marmion 9, Immaculate Conception 8: Jose Godinez and Steve Maloney had 2 hits for the Knights (8-9, 2-5), while Carlos Rodriguez and Maloney drove in 2 runs in the Suburban Catholic Conference loss.
