Mathis' goal lifts Mundelein over Rockford Boylan 2-1

Nathalie Mathis proved clutch.

The sophomore scored the winning goal with about 15 minutes left to lift Mundelein to a 2-1 victory over previously undefeated Rockford Boylan on Saturday.

The Mustangs (4-3-1) also got a goal from Kim Carroll on a penalty kick. Goalie Nicole Allen rolled up 6 saves.

Grayslake Central 1, Antioch 0: The Rams won their sixth game in a row thanks to a Kelly Jay goal that came off a Megan LeBaron assist. Meanwhile, goalies Kat Dickson and Maggie Klees teamed up to preserve the shutout, Central's third of the season.

Carmel 2, Glenbrook North 0: Leah Einarsen and Kassidy Brown each scored a goal for Carmel in the shutout. Goalie Maddie Allen had 10 saves.

Huntley 1, Libertyville 0: Libertyville had only 4 shots on goal but stayed in the game thanks to 6 saves by goalkeepers Erin Waehner and Anna Pollema. Waehner accounted for 4 of the saves.
