Kirk is a master at electronic forums

In the last months, I have received recorded calls from Congressman Mark Kirk inviting members of the household to join in electronic town meetings.

In one of these occasions curiosity got the better of me, I dialed the required number and I became the proverbial fly in the wall.

Attending this meeting made me understand why Congressman Kirk is the voice so often heard when the media wants an informed answer without spin or grandiose pronouncements. Kirk's peers in Congress likely see him as thoughtful and articulate leader.

Kirk was impressive. The depth and breadth of his knowledge in the subjects was vast, educational and thought provoking, all that while also being courteous, engaging and caring.

I will happily vote to re-elect him and ask others to do the same.
