Paranoia poses real threat to America

President Obama, like Presidents Reagan and Bush before him, has requested an opportunity to speak to America's school children. This request has evoked anger and paranoia on the part of some parents who act as though his message to study hard, be responsible, apply yourself, value education and enjoy learning would somehow indelibly scar their children or worse yet corrupt their values.

America is in serious trouble if the message of the President poses a threat to anyone - parent or not.

It is the parents' action that present a real threat to their children and to all Americans.
