Look for new leaders in Illinois
We need new people. The indictments handed down on April 2 makes us two for two in governors being indicted this decade. Although justice has been served to George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich, Springfield has not changed. Our "reform oriented" Governor Pat Quinn has thrown reform to the side. Instead, he is focused on increasing taxes at one of the most inopportune moments in history. Our voices and our concerns are being ignored by Springfield. It's time for voters to realize that new ideas require new people. One of the new people I think this paper should take a moment to highlight is Adam Andrzejewski, who is seeking the Republican nomination for governor. Adam has already taken a stand on many issues we need addressed like corruption, property taxes, job growth, the budget, health care, and the education system. He believes that putting every dime of government spending online, in real time is what is necessary to help fix the problems of the state of Illinois. Local governments and school districts should also put their checkbooks online for all to see. I encourage everyone to visit his Web site, www.AdamforIllinois.com [. It's time that the people of Illinois had their turn running things rather than the special interests and corrupt elected officials.
