Softball: ACC holds on vs. Fenton

Aurora Central Catholic's softball team won a wild 11-10 game over Fenton on Wednesday.

The Chargers (12-10, 3-5) led 6-0 after the first inning and 11-1 going to the bottom of the sixth. The Bison scored 8 times in the sixth and once in the seventh to come up a run short.

Leadoff hitter Alheli Velazquez was 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, 2 triples and 2 runs, Isabel Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with 2 runs, and Kaitlyn Carlson was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI. Dani Brown pitched the first 6 2/3 innings with 13 strikeouts.
